Open letter from a Wolves Parent
Sep 2, 2014, 9:54 am

Coach Ken, Coach Ed, Coach Sean, & Suzanne,

Thank you for the uplifting comments Ken. The Pee Wee team will learn and have fun no matter what happens. Their locker room is alive with chatter before and after the games. They will take the games in stride and you and Ed will guide them along. I, on the other hand, will SUFFER with every goal scored against us and DIE a little with every loss, LOL!

I think the Squirt Blue has a chance to match or surpass last year. They are a great group with toughness, as well as talent. They showed more grit than some pro athletes (excluding pro hockey players, of course)! One win away from playing for all the chocolate, talk about suffering!

It was, as usual, a great weekend. Suzanne makes it look easy, but I know she works harder than anyone and the Eremitas appreciate it. Her attention to the details and TLC are extraordinary. Please send a special thank you to Bernadette for the arts & crafts and watching over the boys as if they were her own. Also to Brian Kay for being the leader of the cheerleaders. Are his parents sure there is only one Brian? I think he was at every game and in every locker room! It was good to have someone else there for the boys. I also saw Quin Danus helping out, as well. So thank you to him.

The whole weekend and list of thank yous show what you have made the Wolves all about. It is like an extended family where everyone CARES. Please thank all the Pee Wee parents and Squirt parents offering to take my boys to games, especially Brad, as usual, and Onix for taking and offering to take Vin to meals, games, malls etc. The Palent's and Cuccaro's generosity is awesome!  And I can't forget about the inquiries regarding Vin when he was sick, all showing genuine concern. I can only say THANK YOU.

It was a really nice way for my family to end their summer! Hope to see you at practice or lessons. Please forward to all!
